The Wild Deer Leafkick at Thoresby Park is a trail running event held in October within the historic 1,000-acre estate of Thoresby Park, home to a 17th-century mansion, wild deer, and long-horned cattle. The event offers multiple distances: a family-friendly 2km, 5-mile, 10-mile, 20-mile, and a 30-mile ultra, with the longer distances consisting of laps of the 10-mile route. The fairly flat terrain suits runners of all fitness levels, from beginners to those stepping up from Parkrun.

The event is Canicross friendly, allowing runners to participate with up to two dogs, and welcomes Nordic walkers. Live chip timing is provided, and all finishers receive merchandise, a medal, snack, and drink. Parking is available for a small fee.
