Sherwood Christmas 10k & 5k

The Sherwood Christmas 10k & 5k takes place at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottingham NG21 9JL on Sunday 22 November. The event is set on multi terrain forest trails with undulating ground and includes a dedicated junior run.

The organiser provides route maps and downloadable GPX files for the courses. Entrants receive a bespoke medal and free photographs; trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners. There is an informal festive atmosphere and festive silliness is encouraged; a prize is listed for the best dressed runner in a Santa outfit.

The event raises funds for Shelter. The organiser states that Shelter supports people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and campaigns on issues related to housing and safe homes.

Practical information supplied for attendees includes parking at the event with the fee included in the cost of the ticket, and local bus options to nearby villages from Mansfield bus station. Join the Calton Crawl on Tue 9 Jun 2026 in the Peak District for an energetic 8.5 km trail run with 244 m of climb, offering great views and a proper challenge. Friendly village hall base and day entries welcome for a low cost event.

A five mile charity trail run in Epperstone on 9 June 2026 raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity. The undulating route includes an early climb and offers vouchers, course record prizes and a club beer crate.

Approximately 12k mainly off road at Rother Valley Country Park with a signed course and marshals. Finishers receive a mug and goody bag and there will be tea, coffee and plenty of cakes.

A non stop 108 mile Pennine Way race from Edale to Hardraw with a 60 hour limit, high ascent and varied terrain. Organisers require prior endurance experience and places are limited.
