Sherwood Christmas 10k & 5k
The event takes place on 22 November 2026 at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottingham NG21 9JL. It offers running on multi terrain with undulating forest trails and includes a dedicated junior run.

Detailed route maps, including downloadable GPX files, are provided for participants. The event is organised to raise funds for Shelter; information about Shelter’s work supporting people affected by the housing emergency and defending the right to a safe home is part of the event description.
Included with entry are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. There is a best dressed Santa prize for the most impressive festive outfit. Parking is available at the event and the fee is included in the cost of the ticket. Public transport options mention bus numbers 14 and 15 to Kirton or Walesby from Mansfield bus station with hourly services on Sundays.
