Sherwood Christmas 10k & 5k

The Sherwood Christmas 10k & 5k takes place on 22 November 2026 at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottingham, NG21 9JL. The course runs on multi terrain, undulating forest trails through Sherwood Pines.

Distances offered:

  • 10k: open to entrants aged 15 and over on 22/11/2026
  • 5k: open to entrants aged 11 and over on 22/11/2026
  • Junior Run: entry available, on-the-day fee listed as £7

Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for participants. The event is organised with a dedicated junior race and includes route support and timing for leading runners. Event information will be sent to registered entrants prior to race day.

The event is raising funds for Shelter. Shelter supports people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and campaigns on housing issues.

What is included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. There is also a best dressed runner prize for Santa-themed dress.
