The Winter Railway Ultra is a multi-distance running event on the banks of the River Severn between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth. The route follows a disused railway line and passes visible signs of the area’s industrial heritage. The event is scheduled for 21 February 2026, with a related summer event on 1 August 2026. There is a 7 hour cut off for the event.

Race headquarters is on the old railway line behind The Woodbridge Public House, Coalport, Telford, TF8 7JF. Parking is available about a 10 minute walk away at the Coalport China Museum and Coalport YHA; parking charges apply.
