The Winter Railway Ultra is a multi-distance running event on 21 February 2026. The route runs along the banks of the River Severn between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth on a disused railway line. Race headquarters are on the old railway line behind The Woodbridge Pub, Coalport, Telford, TF8 7JF. Each out-and-back lap measures 9.4 miles and there is a well-stocked aid station approximately every 4.7 miles. The event uses a 7 hour cut off. Parking is a 10 minute walk from the HQ at the Coalport China Museum and Coalport YHA; charges apply.

Entry fees range from £28 to £42 depending on distance. Age limits vary by distance: some distances require entrants to be 18 or over on the event date, while the 9 Mile and Half Marathon entries are open to those aged 17 and over on that date. There are four pubs within about one mile of the start - The Woodbridge Inn, The Shakespeare, The Brewery, and The Boat Inn - and the Coalport YHA is also within one mile.
