The Winter Railway Ultra is a multi distance running event set for 21 February 2026 on the banks of the River Severn between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth. The course follows a disused railway line and passes locations that reflect the area’s industrial heritage. Race HQ is on the old railway line behind The Woodbridge Public House, Coalport, Telford, TF8 7JF.

Distances offered include:

  • Half Marathon
  • 19 Miles (3/4 Marathon)

Several riverside pubs are located within about one mile of the start, and the Coalport YHA lies within a similar distance.
