The event takes place in Hamden, CT, on December 28, 2025. It is an eight-hour loop event held around Lake Wintergreen. Entry fee is $35. The field is limited to 50 runners. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
Course, support and rules
Participants run repeated 1.6 mile loops with about 65 feet of elevation gain per loop. Runners tally loops on a central "Big Board." There is one aid station on course and organizers will provide water, electrolytes, soup or grilled cheese (or quesadillas), Coke and Sprite, and snacks such as candy, chips, pretzels and fruit.
