Forbidden Forest 30‑Hour Ultra : Roosevelt Forest, Stratford CT
The Forbidden Forest Ultra is a timed 30 hour trail event held at Roosevelt Forest, 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, Connecticut. The course is a marked loop of 2.23 miles with a maximum elevation gain of 201 feet. Terrain includes roots, rocks, rolling hills and one larger climb known as "OMG." The pavilion serves as the only aid station on course where hydration, GU, and ultra snacks are available day and night.

Finishers who complete 100 miles receive a buckle; completing 45 loops in the 30 hour period is noted as the finisher buckle standard. Overall race placement is determined by the most miles completed within the 30 hour limit. One registered pacer per runner is allowed on course at a time; pacers must register, sign a waiver, and check in to receive a pacer wristband. Unauthorized pacers will result in disqualification.
Logistics notes: bib and packet pickup are offered at the event, personal crew or pit areas are permitted with limitations, overnight camping is not allowed by town ordinance, and vehicle parking is limited. Registration is final with no refunds, transfers, or deferrals. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental or guardian signed waiver.
