One pacer is allowed per runner at a time. Pacers must register, sign a waiver, and check in for a wristband; unauthorized pacers will result in disqualification. Pacer fees listed for the event are $50 for a 12-hour allowance and $25 for a 6-hour allowance. Race winners are determined by most miles completed within 30 hours.
