All distances run on a single 10.48 mile loop that is 99.9% trail. Runners may complete the loop multiple times, with some participants running the loop up to 15 times. The course includes two road crossings and is marked with pink and reflective flagging plus arrows at tricky spots to aid navigation.

Two staffed aid stations are on course. Hylē Hydration serves as the designated hydration fuel. Typical aid station provisions include peanut butter and jelly, pretzels, chips, candy, fruit, broth, perogies, and later in the weekend items such as pizza, burgers, and occasionally hot dogs. The organizers note efforts to accommodate vegan and gluten free requests. Both aid stations have portable toilets and there are no other bathrooms on the course.

Night race options are listed for the 10 mile and the 50 kilometer distances. Crews and pacers may support runners, but all crew and pacer actions are the runner's responsibility; rule violations can lead to disqualification or removal of runner and crew.
