The Conquer - Dawsonville, GA

The Conquer is a backyard ultra held at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, GA on December 5, 2026. The course is a repeated loop that begins at the top of the falls and uses the East Ridge trail, lower Mountain Laurel trail, and the AT Approach with 605 steps to return to the top.

Each loop is 3.6 miles with approximately 1,025 feet of elevation gain. Runners must complete the loop within the prescribed hourly interval and repeat the loop each hour until a single runner remains. Pacers are not allowed; support crews may provide assistance at the finish area.

Monetary prizes and milestone awards are part of the event structure. For 2026 the declared grand prize is $1,000 to the last man and $1,000 to the last woman. If the event exceeds the record of 36 loops, an additional $1,000 will be awarded to the final runner. Milestone awards include the Marathon Challenge for 8 loops, the 24 Hour Challenge for 24 loops, and the Everest Challenge for 29 loops. Participants who do not win receive a custom DNW medal.

Logistics and policies: registration periods run June 1 to Sept. 30, 2026 for the regular window and Oct. 1 to Dec. 5, 2026 for late registration. Entry fees are $150 during the earlier period and $175 during late registration. No refunds are issued; entries may be transferred to another racer in the same event up to 15 days before the event. A printed, signed waiver must be brought to check in. The event provides free park admission and parking, timing services, snacks and water, and free photos.
