Event overview

The Conquer is a backyard ultra held at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, Georgia on December 6, 2025. The course is a marked trail loop that starts at the top of the falls, follows the East Ridge trail down to the lower parking area, picks up the Mountain Laurel trail, and returns via the AT Approach trail, including 605 steps back to the top. Registration closes December 1, 2025.

Format, prizes and gear

Runners receive a $100 bill to carry for the entire event and must surrender it if they drop out. The event runs in repeated one-hour loops; each runner must complete the loop within an hour to continue. The race continues hourly until one runner completes a final solo loop and is declared the winner. Prize money is allocated by sex division based on the number of same-sex registrations; examples given in the event information include $5,000 to the last registered woman if 50 women sign up, and $10,000 to the last registered man if 100 men sign up.

Rules and services

The course is fully marked. No pacers are allowed; support crews may assist at the finish area. Runners may not leave the venue between loops and must be present for roll call before each loop. The event provides a 10x10 spot for tent or table, free park admission and parking, timing services, snacks and water, free photos, and custom "Did Not Win" medals for non-winning finishers.
