The Assault on Yonah Mountain takes place on a late September date. The event includes a 2.5-mile run/hike and a ruck division. For the ruck division, women must carry a minimum of 15 pounds and men a minimum of 20 pounds. The total event time limit is 2 hours and 15 minutes, with an intermediate cutoff. Organizers state the event is not recommended for those who are not in shape, are elderly, or pose a fall risk.
