The event times include a 2 hour 15 minute overall cutoff and an intermediate cutoff near the old heli pad of 1 hour 15 minutes.
Course and logistics
The race starts at the bottom of the gravel driveway road and proceeds uphill to a trailhead about 0.3 miles and 175 feet above the start, then continues on single track to the summit. The climb is described in three sections: bottom (more gradual with some rocky bits), middle (steep and technical with rock gardens and short flat or downhill sections, including about 0.1 miles at a very steep grade), and top (about 0.75 miles at roughly 12-20 percent grade to the summit field). All participants park at the start; there is no finish line parking. After the timed ascent, participants hike or jog back down to their cars under their own power.
Ruck division and awards
A ruck division requires minimum carried weights: Women 15 pounds, Men 20 pounds. All finishers receive a medal; the top three male and female finishers receive custom handmade awards. To be guaranteed a medal, registration must be completed by September 15.

The route includes gravel road, dirt, and rocky sections that can be slippery when wet. Grippy trail shoes are recommended.
