Nogawild Safari Run & Challenge Course

The Nogawild Safari Run takes place in Cleveland, Georgia, at the North Georgia Zoo and Safari Park located on Paradise Valley Road. This fundraising event supports the animal care and conservation efforts of Creation Encounters. Participants traverse a course that passes a variety of animals, including antelope, penguins, camels, zebras, and kangaroos.

The event features several participation options:

  • Safari Run/Walk: A 2.8 mile race consisting of two laps along Wildlife Park pathways and the Safari Drive-Thru road.
  • Kids & Family Fun Run: A 1 mile course consisting of one to two laps around the Safari Park.
  • Virtual Safari Run: A 2.8 mile remote option for those unable to attend the physical location.

The terrain varies throughout the park, consisting of a mix of gravel, asphalt, and mulch. This is a non-timed fundraiser event, and participants are responsible for tracking their own finish times if they wish to have a record. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers.

Participants in the in-person events receive a finisher medallion and one raffle ticket for a drawing held after the run. Registration includes admission to the Safari Drive-Thru following the event. Children under the age of four may participate for free when accompanied by a registered adult. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
