Spider Mountain Trail Race
Held May 16–17, 2026 in Burnet, Texas, at Spider Mountain Bike Park (200 Greenwood Hills Trail), this event is organized as a night time trail running event at a lift served mountain bike park with a quad chair lift.
The program offers a mix of timed events and fixed distances. The venue provides opportunities to practice climbing and descending on trails, test long distance and mountain running equipment, and refine night running technique and nutrition. Mass starts are used by distance; the start line may remain open after the mass start for runners who prefer a later, casual entry and do not seek overall awards.
Results display two times for each runner: gun time and chip time. Gun time is the official time used for rankings and awards. Chip time is shown on the results page for reference but is not used for official awards.

Participants receive race swag. The deadline to guarantee a shirt is April 24; registrations after that date receive alternate race swag such as a trucker cap or neck gaiter. For the youth mile, a parent must ride the chairlift with the child to the start and volunteers will guide children on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
