The Capt'n Karl's Trail Series concludes at Reveille Peak Ranch, a privately owned adventure park situated 55 miles northwest of Austin in Burnet, Texas. This event serves as the finale for the trail series and utilizes the local terrain to offer various race categories. Participants can choose from several distances:
- 60K trail race
- 30K trail race
- 20K trail race
- 10K trail race or ruck
- 5K sunset trail race
- 1 mile youth trail run for ages 12 and under
The course is characterized by unique geological formations, including large rock domes and technical single-track trails. Runners navigate through a mix of exposed areas and tree-covered woods. The route features the highest elevation gain in the series, reaching a total of 3812 feet.
Amenities at the ranch support both participants and spectators. For the youth event, parents are permitted to run alongside their children at no additional cost.
