Pechanga Trail Run
The Pechanga Trail Run takes place at Krause Springs in Spicewood, Texas, on May 2, 2026. The event name is derived from the Luiseno word meaning "the place where the water drips" and the Spanish word for "party." The venue includes a swimming hole and privately owned ranch land with single-track trail.

A pre-race briefing will provide course details for each distance. Each participant receives both a gun time and a chip time; awards are based on gun time. Medals are offered to all finishers, and the organizers will also offer a medal to participants who make an attempt but do not finish. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top masters male and female.
There are two fully serviced aid stations: one at the start/finish area and one approximately halfway along the course. Typical aid station items include cookies, PBJ sandwiches, fruit, pickles and pickle juice, sports drink, cola, and electrolyte products. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own cup, bottle, or hydration system. Pacers are not allowed. Course maps are provided for the various distances.
