Backyard Ultra - Summit Trail Racing

Marble Falls, United States • 21-26 Nov 2026

Event Overview

The Summit Backyard Ultra is a trail race held in Marble Falls, Texas, following the traditional backyard ultra format. Participants must complete a 4.17 mile loop every hour, on the hour. The event continues until only one runner remains on the course. To be crowned the winner, the final participant must successfully complete one last solo lap within the time limit.

Race Format

The competition is a "Last Person Standing" event. Each participant has exactly 60 minutes to finish the 4.17 mile course. If a runner finishes the loop in less than an hour, they may use the remaining time to rest before the next lap begins. Runners who fail to complete a loop within the hour or are not present at the start line when the next hour begins are eliminated from the race.
