Colorado River Run : overview
The Colorado River Run is a multi-distance trail event held at Turkey Bend Park on the Colorado River near Marble Falls / Lago Vista, Texas. It takes place across two days in late November 2025 and offers a range of trail distances that follow riverbanks, single-track trails and dirt paths through natural habitats. Distances include:

- 50 Mile
- 50K
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 5K Kids
- 5K Ruck
- 10 Miler
Course, support and policies
The 100-mile race is laid out as ten laps of a 10-mile loop; the 50-mile distance uses five laps of the same loop. The course includes mixed terrain with occasional technical sections and moderate elevation changes. Fully stocked aid stations will provide hydration, nutrition and medical assistance. Pacers are allowed for the 100-mile (after mile 50) and 50-mile (after mile 30) events; pacers must register, sign a waiver, wear a pacer bib, meet age requirements and may only enter or exit at aid stations. Custom finisher medals are awarded to finishers.
Event policies note a strict no-animals rule, limited campsites at the park on a first-come basis, and a no-refund cancellation policy except if the race is canceled for severe weather or other uncontrollable circumstances. Registration includes the participant park entry; additional spectator fees apply. Participants receive a wristband at packet pickup as proof of park entry.
