South Shropshire Circular

The 42nd South Shropshire Circular is a challenging 27-mile running event set in the scenic South Shropshire countryside, starting and finishing at Clee Village Hall. Participants will navigate a route that remains undisclosed until the day of the event, featuring 5000 feet of ascent. The event includes four legs with three serviced checkpoints for refreshments, and a time limit of 10 hours.

Registration opens early in the morning, and a hot meal awaits participants upon their return. July the Turd is a run offering 8 miles, 16 miles and a full marathon around the Ironbridge valley. The route mixes tracks, paths and road and the event finishes at The Unicorn Inn with parking on site and finisher bling.

A 6.7 km fell race around the Stiperstones from Snailbeach with 375 m of ascent, steady climbs and mixed descents. Entries are available by pre-entry or on the evening and proceeds support local charities and Natural England.

A 48 mile point to point ultra from Mid Wales Art Centre to Shrewsbury following the River Severn, with four checkpoints, vegan and gluten free food options, required 4.0 mph minimum pace and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 59 mile point to point ultramarathon following much of the River Severn from Shrewsbury to Worcester. The race has four checkpoints with vegan and gluten free options and enforces a minimum pace of 4.0 miles per hour.
