Sole Survivor Trail Race

Sole Survivor Trail Race is scheduled for July 18, 2026, on forested trails around Pass Powderkeg Ski Hill. All races start and finish at Pete's Park, 124th Street and 18th Avenue, Blairmore. This is a trail event; strollers and pets are not allowed on the course.

There are multiple distance options with specific course features and aid station availability. Water and treats are provided at the finish area. Some distances include one or more aid stations on course.

Registrations received by June 26 will include a t-shirt; registrations after that date will not receive a t-shirt. Participants should follow event safety information and trail rules.

Distances

  • 2.5 km: forested trails at the base of Pass Powderkeg Ski Hill; no aid station.
  • 5 km: one lap on the soccer field then forested trails; one water station passed twice.
  • 10 km: forested trails zigzagging Pass Powderkeg Ski Hill; two aid stations.
