Sole Survivor Trail Race

The Sole Survivor Trail Race takes place in Blairmore, utilizing the forested trail network along the Pass Powderkeg Ski Hill. All race distances start and finish at Pete's Park, located at 124th Street and 18th Avenue.

Participants can select from three different trail options:

  • 2.5 km : A trail run or walk through the woods at the bottom of the ski hill.
  • 5 km : A route starting with a lap of a soccer field followed by forested trails with gentle hills and switchbacks.
  • 10 km : A course zigzagging through the ski hill area featuring a combination of uphill and downhill sections.

The 2.5 km event does not have an aid station on course, but water and treats are available at the finish line. The 5 km course features one water station passed twice, while the 10 km course includes two aid stations.

The event is held strictly on trails, and strollers are not permitted on any of the courses. Additionally, pets are not allowed to participate or attend. Runners who register by the June 26th deadline receive a race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
