Sisters Country

Sisters Country is a spring trail running event held in Sisters, Oregon, with courses that start and finish at Village Green Park. The event on May 3, 2026 includes two distances and routes that run largely on single track trails through Ponderosa pine forest and offer views of the Cascade Peaks.

  • 50K - 2400 ft climb and 2400 ft descent, 85% single track, 15% gravel road.
  • Half Marathon - 700 ft climb, 95% single track, running among Ponderosa Pines.

The 50K course passes viewpoints of the Cascade Peaks including the Three Sisters and includes five fully stocked aid stations. The half marathon includes two aid stations. Both races list cut off times for participant progress.

Entry policy notes that there are no transfers to other runners. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the race are eligible for a 50% credit toward the same event the following year. Cancellations 30 days or less before the race receive no credit, refund, or transfer. If the organizer must cancel an event and it cannot be feasibly rescheduled, refunds, race credits, and rollovers will not be given; examples named include COVID-19, wildfires, air quality, natural disasters, and permitting agency closures.
