Sisters Country is a pair of spring trail races that start and finish at Village Green Park in the heart of Sisters, Oregon. The event offers a 50K and a Half Marathon on multi-use trails that remain open to hikers and mountain bikers during the races. Roads are open to vehicles when entering town; participants should be aware of traffic and must not use headphones once they reach the paved road to the finish. Dogs are not allowed to run with participants due to permit conditions.

Distances

  • 50K: 2400 ft climbing and 2400 ft descending, 85% single track.
  • Half Marathon: 700 ft climbing, 95% single track, 2 aid stations.

The 50K includes five fully stocked aid stations and views of the Cascade Peaks including the Three Sisters. The half marathon route runs among Ponderosa pines and has two aid stations. Finishers receive a finisher medal, and the top three non-binary, female, and male finishers in each race receive prizes from sponsors. Ridgeview High School cross country team is the event beneficiary and will staff aid stations. Pre-race coffee and a post-race burrito bar and beer will be available for participants and volunteers.
