The Sharlie Shuffle is a timed trail event held on June 6, 2026 at Ponderosa State Park in McCall, Idaho. The event is the ninth annual Shuffle and offers in-person and virtual registration options for 2026. Organizers present both six hour and twelve hour race formats.
The course runs clockwise on a loop that measures 4.79 miles with roughly 640 feet of gain per loop. The loop includes rolling and rocky trails, flat sections, stairs, boardwalks, single-track and some double-track, plus short stretches of pavement. A shorter 2.18 mile loop is available for the final two hours of the event.
The event operates as a fundraiser for Ponderosa State Park trails, with registration fees and additional donations directed to trail work and trail advocacy through a nonprofit. Organizers aim for low-impact practices on race day, including minimizing paper products and encouraging reuse of cups and mugs. Local businesses provide aid and prizes. Campgrounds at Ponderosa State Park will be open for the race weekend and campsite reservations are available in advance.
