Sharlie Shuffle

Event overview

The Sharlie Shuffle is scheduled for June 6, 2026 in McCall, Idaho at Ponderosa State Park beside Payette Lake. The event offers timed loop options:

• 12-Hour run
• 6-Hour run

The event will be held in person, and a separate virtual registration option is available for 2026. Registration closes on June 3, 2026. Campgrounds at Ponderosa State Park will be open for the race weekend and campsite reservations are available online.

Course and format

The course is a clockwise loop of 4.79 miles with an alternate 2.18-mile shorter loop available for the final two hours. Each full loop contains about 640 feet of elevation gain. Terrain on the loop includes rolling and rocky trails, flat sections, stairs, boardwalks, single-track, some double-track, and short paved sections. Laps are counted on loops; organizers use simple, low-technology methods for timing and lap counting.

Logistics and fees

Both the 6-hour and 12-hour entries begin at a base price of $50, including processing fees; prices increase on February 15 and again on April 15. Registration fees and other event funds not used for permitting, aid, and prizes will be donated to Ponderosa State Park via a Northwest 501(c)3 nonprofit to support trail work and advocacy.
