McCall Trailrunning Classic
The McCall Trailrunning Classic is a trail running event held near Burgdorf Hotsprings in the Payette National Forest near McCall, Idaho. The race uses trails from the original IMTUF100 course and takes place on alpine singletrack. The Start/Finish is at Pete Creek Trailhead and Campground, which offers free dispersed camping and is located 2.5 miles north of Burgdorf Hotsprings on French Creek Road. Additional free and paid camping is available nearby, and lodging is available at Burgdorf and Secesh Stage Stop.
Distances offered:
- 50K: uses Willow and Jeanette Creek Trails, climbs Crystal Mountain, then joins Bear Pete loop.
- 30K: Legend of Bear Pete loop used 2015-2019, gains about 3500 feet, clockwise loop.
This is the 15th annual running of the event and the 2026 courses will run clockwise. Registration closes June 24 at 11:59 PM MT.
Refund policy summary: entries are 50 percent refundable until June 1 at 11:59 PM. After June 1 there are no refunds. There are no rollovers or bib transfers. If the race is cancelled due to fire, severe weather, or similar conditions, refunds or rollovers are not possible. Participants with financial hardship are invited to contact the organizer.
