Payette Lake Run - McCall, Idaho

Payette Lake Run is a community running event in McCall, Idaho, featuring multiple race distances with a common start and finish at Brown Park in downtown McCall. Restrooms are provided at the park and results are posted within 48 hours after the races.

The event offers the following distances:

  • 30K full race around Payette Lake.
  • 14K begins near North Beach on Payette Lake.
  • 5K starts near Little Lake on Lick Creek Road.

Packet pickup is on Saturday, September 5, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Gravity Sports, located at 200 Jacob St, McCall.

Bus transportation from Brown Park is provided to the official start areas for the 14K and 5K courses; the event lists specific load, departure, and drop locations for each race. Aid stations are staffed by volunteers and local youth, with eight stations on the 30K, three on the 14K, and one on the 5K.

Awards recognize the top three male and female overall finishers for each race and include age-group categories: 10 years and under; 11-18; 19-35; 36-49; and 50 years and over.
