Payette Lake Run

The Payette Lake Run takes place in McCall, Idaho, with race activities centered at Brown Park in downtown McCall. The event offers three official distances around and near Payette Lake.

  • 30K around Payette Lake
  • 14K beginning near North Beach on Payette Lake
  • 5K starting near Little Lake on Lick Creek Road

Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Gravity Sports, located at 200 Jacob St, McCall. Early bird registration rates apply through August 1, and general registration closes on September 4 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time. Results from the races are posted within 48 hours after completion.

Bus transportation is provided from Brown Park to the official start areas for the 14K and 5K. Buses load at the entrance to Brown Park and drop participants at the designated start locations. Restrooms are available at the event site.

Aid stations are staffed by volunteers and local youth, with eight stations on the 30K, three on the 14K, and one on the 5K course. An award ceremony will recognize the top three male and top three female overall finishers in each race, and age-group categories include 10 years and under, 11 to 18, 19 to 35, 36 to 49, and 50 years and over. Trail runs nearby

A point to point 50K on the Weiser River Trail from Council to Midvale, Idaho, with relay and adaptive athlete options. The route follows a former railroad bed with mixed surfaces and minimal elevation change.
