Payette Lake Run - McCall, ID
The Payette Lake Run offers three measured race distances around and near Payette Lake, all with start and finish at Brown Park in downtown McCall. Distances include:
- 30K - full race around Payette Lake
- 14K - begins near North Beach on Payette Lake
- 5K - starts near Little Lake on Lick Creek Road
Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Gravity Sports, located at 200 Jacob St, McCall, ID. Early bird registration discounts apply through August 1, 2026; registration closes on Friday, September 4, 2026.
Bus transportation is provided from Brown Park to the official start locations for the 14K and 5K races, with designated loading and drop-off points. Aid stations are staffed by volunteers and local youth; the 30K course has eight stations, the 14K has three, and the 5K has one. Restrooms are available at Brown Park.
Results will be posted within 48 hours of race completion. An awards ceremony recognizing the top three male and top three female overall finishers in each race is planned near 11:30 am. Age-group awards cover five categories: 10 and under; 11–18; 19–35; 36–49; and 50 and over. Beer and refreshments will be available in the park after the races.
