Participants are encouraged to collect these tokens as they progress before returning back down the mountain. There is no "did not finish" (DNF) designation for this event, as it emphasizes personal achievement and the journey toward the summit.

Recognition is given to the first male and female participants in both the biking and running categories to reach the summit, who are designated as the King and Queen of the Mountain.
