Idaho Mountain Trail Ultra Festival (IMTUF 100)

IMTUF 100 is the 15th annual mountain trail event held on September 19-20, 2026, with courses that start and finish at Jug Mountain Ranch just south of McCall, Idaho. The festival offers two race distances:

  • 100 Miler
  • 20 Miler

Registration for 2026 opens on January 2, 2026 and closes on September 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. The race continues to be a qualifier for the Hardrock 100 and for the Western States 100.

Organizers describe the event as mountain adventure running with a committing feel. The course is remote at times, and runners may be many miles and many hours away from help. Participants are required to read the waiver and consider the level of commitment and self-sufficiency expected on the route.

The published refund policy states a 50% refund is available until July 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM; after that date there are no refunds. The policy also states there will be no rollover or transfer of bibs and that there may be no refunds if the race is canceled due to fire, severe weather, or similar incidents. The organizers note they may consider individual financial hardship on a case-by-case basis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
