Brundage Mountain Summit Cat Track

Brundage Mountain Summit Cat Track 10k/5k

The event is held at Brundage Mountain Resort near McCall, ID. The course uses the Cat Track and accesses the summit via the Bluebird chair lift for the 5K start and the same route for the 10K turnaround. The 10K run ascends to the summit via the Cat Track and returns on the same route. The 5K run starts at the summit and descends the Cat Track to the finish.

Scenic views along the course include Payette Lake and the McCall area, the 7 Devils Mountains, Granite Peak, Slab Butte and the Wallowa Mountain Range of Oregon. A Summit Aid Station is located at mile 3.1 for 10K runners; it provides cups and gel packets on a table and volunteers will use a pitcher to fill bottles or hydration packs rather than handling personal containers. Participants are asked to bring their own water bottle for the finish area.

Race entry includes a logo Brundage Mountain Cat Track swag item. 10K entries include a free lift ticket for race day and 5K entries include the lift ride to the summit start. No race day signups are allowed. Live music and food service from Smokey's Bar and Grill will be available on the plaza.
