Rock Bridge Revenge is a trail running event held at Rock Bridge State Park with headquarters at the Billy Gilbert Shelter (GPS 38.880933, -92.333980). The event offers these distances:

  • 50K
  • 25K

The course is mostly single track trail and includes a variety of terrain and creek crossings. The 25K consists of one loop on the Devil’s Ice Box Trails, a crossing of Highway 163, and two loops on the High Ridge Trails. The 50K comprises two loops of the 25K course. Chip timing is used and the overall time limit is eight hours.

Aid stations are stocked with food, water and drinks. Aid station locations include Grasslands and High Ridge; these are served once for each 25K loop and multiple times for the 50K. 50K participants may leave a drop bag at the start for access before their second loop. The event is cup free; participants must carry a water bottle, hydration pack, or collapsible cup. There are four park restrooms near the start area and additional restrooms at Devil’s Icebox (approximately 5+ miles).

Entry fees listed are $72.06 for the 50K and $61.43 for the 25K, each including processing fees. Registration closes on October 15 at 11:59 PM CT and the field is limited to 175 competitors. No race day registration is available. Changes, transfers, or cancellations without refund are permitted only up until the Thursday before the race. Park management may cancel the event due to adverse conditions.

T-shirts and cash awards for overall male and female finishers are provided. Lunch is available after the race starting at 11:00 AM for participants presenting their bib. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
