Rock Bridge Revenge is a trail running event held at Rock Bridge State Park with headquarters at the Billy Gilbert Shelter (GPS address 5575 Missouri 163; coordinates 38.880933, -92.333980). The event offers the following race distances:
- 50K
- 25K
The course is 100% single track trail and includes varied terrain and creek crossings. The 25K route is one loop on the Devil’s Icebox Trails, a crossing of Highway 163, and one loop on the Gans Creek Wild Area Trails. The 50K consists of two loops of the 25K course. The event uses chip timing and has an overall time limit of 8 hours.
Logistics, aid, and entry
Aid is available at two stations for the 25K and five stations for the 50K, with an approximate spacing of 4 miles between stations. 50K runners may leave a drop bag at the start for access before the second loop. The event is cup free; participants must carry a water bottle, hydration pack, or collapsible cup. There are park restrooms at the start and additional restrooms on the course. Entry fees listed in the announcement are $72.06 for the 50K and $61.43 for the 25K. Registration closes October 6 and the field is limited to 175 competitors combined.
