Three Creeks Torrent Trail Runs

The Three Creeks Torrent Trail Runs take place at the Three Creeks Conservation Area, located south of Columbia, Missouri. The event is sponsored by the Columbia Track Club and features a course set on land with significant local history, where some former homesteads remain visible.

The race is conducted on an approximate 10 mile loop. The terrain consists of roughly 80% single-track trail and 20% jeep or gravel roads. Participants should expect approximately 950 feet of elevation gain per loop. Each loop includes about ten creek crossings, meaning participants will encounter water on the course.

The available race distances include:

  • 50K (three loops)
  • 20 mile (two loops)
  • 10 mile (one loop)
  • 10 mile ruck (one loop with weighted pack)

For the ruck event, men must carry a minimum of 30 lbs and women a minimum of 20 lbs, excluding food and water. This is a cup-free event, and all participants are required to carry their own hydration systems. Two aid stations are available at the Deer Park Road trailhead and the Tomlin Hill trailhead, providing water and food. The total field is limited to 135 competitors across all distances.
