Flat Branch Ultra is a USATF-certified 50K rails to trails race in Columbia, Missouri, held on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The start and finish are at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park at 800 West Stadium Blvd in Columbia.

The course follows the MKT Trail for about 7.5 miles before joining the Katy Trail west of McBaine and proceeds to Rocheport and back on an out and back route. The route runs along the Missouri River and beneath river bluffs and passes a nearly 400-year-old Bur Oak about 8.5 miles into the race.

Aid stations are located at the start/finish, Scott Blvd, Burr Oak, and Halfway Home (mile 15.5). Drop bags left at the start will be moved to the Halfway Home aid station and returned to the start after the turnaround. All competitors must check in with the Halfway Home aid station captain and must be checked in there by noon or face disqualification.

Packet pickup is race day only at the start/finish location; competitors are required to sign a USATF waiver at pickup. The event provides finish-line water, electrolytes, and typical aid station food. Finisher awards and top three overall male and female awards are presented at the finish and must be accepted in person. Event photography will be taken and made available at no charge.

Field size is limited to 125 entries. The organizer does not offer refunds for cancellations beyond their control. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
