The 24 Hour Lions Roar

The 24 Hour Lions Roar is an ultrarunning event held at Gans Creek Recreation Area in Columbia, Missouri. It features 6, 12, and 24-hour individual races, along with a 24 Hour Tag Team Championship, all run on a 2.5-mile loop that includes the D1 NCAA Cross Country Championship Course. The course is runner-friendly with moderate elevation, suitable for all levels.
A special 1 Hour Cub Run on a 0.25-mile loop is offered for children 14 and under. The event fosters a high-energy, supportive atmosphere and benefits Pascale’s Pals, a local charity aiding families at the Children's Hospital in Columbia.
