Lock Haven, United States • 7 Sep 2025
Real People Helping People Race is a community-focused nonprofit trail running event in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, centered at the Durty Dabbers Pavilion in McElhattan. It offers three trail distances: 10K, 5K, and a 2.5K Nature Trail Untimed. The 10K is a challenging wooded course with about 1500 feet of elevation, routing through Zindel Park trails, Goat Path, Connector, Gut Check, Laurel Trail, Black Diamond and Keller’s Bench before returning to the pavilion.
The 5K follows a Creekside loop to McElhattan Nature Park, with the 2.5K tracing an easier Creekside loop. Proceeds support the Haven Summer Youth Program and Central Mountain Cross Country. On-site food is provided; shirts for early registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
