The Warrior Trail Foundation presents the Dark Sky 220, Cherry Springs 110, and Wooly 50K adventure runs. The event dates are October 25-30, 2026. It takes place in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. All proceeds from the event support trail running events and professional coaching scholarships for selected veteran athletes on the Warrior Trail Foundation Athlete Team.

Distances and Formats

Participants can choose from three distances:

  • Dark Sky 220: A 220-mile course with over 40,000 feet of elevation gain.
  • Cherry Springs 110: A 110-mile course with nearly 20,000 feet of elevation gain.
  • Wooly 50K: A 50-kilometer course.

Runners can complete their chosen distance in different styles:

  • Supported: With a crew and pacers allowed from the start.
  • Self-Supported: Using personal supply caches along the route.
  • Unsupported: Carrying all supplies from the start.
  • Team Option: Teams can run together in either a Supported or Self-Supported style.

A virtual participation option is also available for all distances.

Course and Logistics

The course traverses Pennsylvania trails, featuring fall foliage. The organizer notes that water sources are plentiful along the route. Registration and Fundraising
