The Eastern States 100 is a single-loop ultramarathon in Pennsylvania’s Wilds. The course distance is 103 miles and the route circumnavigates the Pine Creek watershed. The event date is August 8, 2026.

The route is described as the Circumnavigation of the Lost and Bewildered River and runs on trail terrain with more than 20,000 feet of climbing. The race is not entry-level and a 2026 qualification standard is published. Registration for the 2026 race opens October 1, 2025. The event is presented by the Eastern States Trail-Endurance Alliance, which manages this race alongside the Ironstone 100K and the Eagleton Trail Challenge and states a focus on trailrunning and responsible use of public lands. Run under the stars at Icicles on the Moon, a night trail event at Zindel Park in Lock Haven on December 27, 2025. Choose a 7 mile or 5K route around the reservoir, bring a headlamp, and help fund Zindel property revitalization.

The Frozen Snot is a winter trail race on Bald Eagle Mountain near Lock Haven PA with 8.3 and 13.5 mile courses. Expect rugged technical terrain, steep climbs, icy or muddy conditions and bring traction gear for a true cold challenge.

Fire on the Rocks is a rugged 10K trail at Zindel Park near McElhattan, PA, with about 1,400 feet of climbing across challenging singletrack. Limited to 400 runners, the intermediate course finishes with scenic views and sticky buns.

Climb rugged single track through streams and sweeping vistas at the Hyner View Trail Challenge, featuring a punchy 25K and a gutsy 50K with big vertical and technical terrain. Fields are limited, registration opens in May.
