Eastern States 100

Waterville, United States • 8 Aug 2026

Event overview

Eastern States 100 is a single-loop ultramarathon in the Wilds of Pennsylvania. The course length is 103 miles and it circumnavigates the Pine Creek watershed, described on the site as the Circumnavigation of the Lost and Bewildered River. The route follows trail terrain and includes more than 20,000 feet of cumulative climbing. The organizer notes the race is not an entry-level ultramarathon because of course terrain, elevation gain, and potential weather conditions.
