Course Details

The Think Big Trail Challenge offers 5K and 10K distances on trails at the Williamsport Water Authority in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The routes incorporate several named trails. The Bluebird Trail section is known for its forest paths and gentle inclines, passing the historic Remington Ruins. The Pocowanache Trail section, used in the 10K, features steeper climbs, rocky terrain, and winding descents. Both courses include a mix of gravel roads, singletrack, climbs, and descents, finishing on the Bluebird Trail.

One aid station is located at the Green Bridge for all participants.

Event Information

This event was formerly the Salvation Army race. Proceeds benefit the Think Big Pediatric Cancer Fund in memory of Elliot Storms.

Awards are given for first place male and female in several age groups for both distances: 14 and under, 15-19, and then in 10-year age groups up to 60+.

Race swag is guaranteed for the first 200 registrants. Race day registration is available, and any remaining swag is first-come, first-served.

A women's trail running weekend on the Eastern States course near Lock Haven, PA, featuring guided group runs that cover over 50 miles and about 9,100 feet of elevation, with lodging, meals, and transport included.
