Think Big Trail Challenge
The Think Big Trail Challenge is a trail running event in South Williamsport, PA, offering two distances: 5K and 10K. The courses use a mix of gravel roads, singletrack, rocky climbs, and flowing descents across trails managed by the Williamsport Water Authority. Key trail sections include the Bluebird Trail and the Pocowanache Trail, with scenic and historic features such as the Remington Ruins and Green Bridge.
Course details:
- 5K route using gravel road, Shelterwood and Bluebird Trail to finish.
- 10K extends 5K with Pocowanache Trail ascent and return via Green Bridge.
There is one aid station at the Green Bridge for both distances. Awards are planned for first place male and female in age categories 14 and under, 15-19, then in 10-year age groups up to 60+ for both races. The event is the successor to a former Salvation Army race held on these trails. Proceeds benefit the Think Big Pediatric Cancer Fund in memory of a child.
