Call Of The Wilds Mountain Fest

Call Of The Wilds Mountain Fest takes place on October 24, 2026 at Little Pine State Park in Waterville, PA during peak fall foliage. The event offers two trail race distances and uses a network of marked trails in the park.

• 25K: uses Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run, Torbert Trail
• 10K: one major climb then downhill to Panther Run, joins 25K to finish

The 25K route includes the Torbert Trail and a downhill section on Panther Run to the finish. The 10K features a single large climb followed by a downhill link that joins the 25K for the shared finish. The 25K has over 5,000 feet of vertical gain and the 10K has about 1,000 feet of vertical gain. Cut-offs are in place at mile 5.5, mile 11, and mile 13 to ensure a daylight finish.

Registration is limited to 400 total runners across both distances. Entry fees are listed as $80 for the 25K and $55 for the 10K. Registration opens December 16th. Race policies state no refunds, no deferrals, no bib transfers, and no unauthorized participants. Participants should prepare with specific training for steep and technical trails.
