The Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest takes place on October 19, 2025, at Little Pine State Park in Waterville, PA. The event offers two trail distances:

The race is limited to 400 total runners. Registration opens in December. Registration closes on October 1.

Course and logistics

Both courses follow sections of the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run and Torbert trails. The 25K includes over 5,000 feet of vertical gain; the 50K includes about 8,000 feet. The Torbert Trail appears with roughly 4 miles remaining before the finish. Cut-offs are used at checkpoint mile markers to ensure a daylight finish.
