Camp Susque Trail Run

Camp Susque holds an annual Trail Run during its Harvest Festival on the camp property in Trout Run, Pennsylvania. The event offers three course options:

• 5k Trail Run : timed course on mountain trails.
• 10k Trail Run : the 5k course completed twice.
• 1 mile Fun Run or Walk : approximate one mile on flat, grassy surfaces.

The 5k course gains 469 feet of elevation; the 10k gains about 938 feet. The 5k is a timed event and is open to all ages. Trail surfaces for the 5k and 10k include rocks, mud, roots, and other typical mountain-trail features. The Fun Run follows a flatter grassy circuit.

The entry fee for each distance is $30. Participants may register on the day of the event; online registration allows up to five people per form. The event proceeds rain or shine. A water station is placed along the 5k and 10k routes. Registered participants receive a t-shirt (sizes guaranteed only for early pre-registration), a water bottle, and typically a race bib though bibs are not guaranteed for Fun Run participants. A goodie bag includes snacks. Susque-branded items and Alabaster Coffee are available for purchase on site.

Overnight lodging is available at the camp with rooms priced at $70 per night and rustic cabins as an alternative. Arrangements should be made in advance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
