The Fire on the Rocks 10K takes place on March 14, 2026, at Zindel Park / Durty Dabbers Pavilion in McElhattan, PA. The course is roughly 6.6 miles (about 10K) with about 1,400 feet of climbing. The event is open to the first 400 runners, hikers, or walkers. Registration opens December 16, 2025. The organizer notes there are no refunds, deferrals, bib transfers, or bandits. After the race, sticky buns and drinks are provided at the pavilion.

Course and logistics

The route uses local trails also used for the Frozen Snot and Boulder Beast races and includes a mix of service roads, singletrack, and trail connectors. Named sections on the course include Reservoir Road, Keller's Bench, Black Diamond, Change Up, Kammerdiner, Debbies Drop, Gorge Trail, Lightning Ridge, Final Cut, and Creekside before returning to the pavilion. Parking is at the Restless Oaks parking lot (119 Pine Mountain Rd, McElhattan, PA). Shuttle buses will transport participants up to the start/finish area, or participants may walk about a half mile up Reservoir Rd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
