The Fire on the Rocks 10K is an intermediate-level trail race held at Zindel Park, Durty Dabbers Pavilion, in McElhattan, PA on March 14, 2026. The course is described as about 6.5–6.6 miles in length and includes roughly 1,400 feet of climbing. The route uses local trails that are also used for the Frozen Snot and Boulder Beast races.

Course and logistics

The course follows a sequence of named trails and features, including Reservoir Road, Keller's Bench, Black Diamond, Debbies Drop, Gorge Trail, Lightning Ridge, Final Cut, a spillway bridge, the dam, Creekside, and the Durty Dabbers trail down to the finish. Parking is at the Restless Oaks parking lot (119 Pine Mountain Rd); shuttle buses run to the start/finish or participants may walk about 0.5 mile up Reservoir Rd. Bib pickup occurs on race morning, and sticky buns and drinks will be provided after the race at the pavilion.
