The Smallfoot Trail Fest is a trail running event for children aged 12 and under. The course is approximately 3 miles long, featuring small hills, possible stream crossings, and muddy sections. The route is well-flagged with volunteers stationed along the way. An aid station is provided at the halfway point.

Registration is free but required in advance, with a cut-off at 250 participants. Parents or guardians may run with their children but should not register themselves for the race.
