Tröegs Rugged Trail 5K Run for Conservation takes place at the Ned Smith Center for Nature & Arts in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. It offers two routes: the Rugged Trail 5K, featuring a 700-foot elevation climb through Berry Mountain woods, and the HopBack Trail for beginners along the Wiconisco Creek and through the Center’s Nature Discovery Play Area. Proceeds support the Ned Smith Center’s lands and trails system.

After the race, a festival-style post-race party with live music, food, vendors, and a raffle, plus an awards ceremony. Participants receive a 5K shirt, a pizza token, a Tröegs Rugged Trail Ale token, and SWAG; a Limited Edition Rugged Trail Ale is brewed for the event and available at the beer stand. Enjoy a crisp winter 4 mile trail run through woodland at RB Winter State Park near Mifflinburg, PA, followed by a cozy post race gathering with hot soup and food. Finishers receive a bottle of wine or grape juice.

Run through vineyards at Armstrong Valley Winery in a chip timed 5k over varied footing for a fun wine country challenge. Entry includes a T shirt, wine glass, medal that doubles as a wine stopper and a wine pour. Virtual entries welcome.

Run under the stars at the Night Flight Trail Run in Camp Mount Luther, featuring 5 km and 10 km options on a glow stick marked trail. Bring a headlamp or flashlight and enjoy post race food plus a peanut butter egg at the finish.

Run the Dandelion Trail at Camp Mount Luther on Sept 5 and support the camp with scenic 5K and 10K loop courses. Kids fun run and finisher awards add family friendly fun for all abilities.
