Icicles on the Moon 7 Miler : event details

The Icicles on the Moon event is scheduled for December 27, 2025, at Zindel Park in Lock Haven, PA. It is a night event based at the Zindel Park caretakers house. The start and finish are at the Zindel property and the courses use local trails around the reservoir. Proceeds will go toward revitalizing the Zindel property. Participants must wear a headlamp and be prepared for winter conditions; the event will be held as planned regardless of weather.

The 7 mile course is mostly runnable and uses the Outer Limits and Spring Run trails on the back side of the Zindel area. The 5K uses the Gut Check and the Gorge Trail and includes one short steep climb followed by mostly flat terrain. Registration opens July 15 at 7:00 PM and is available to the first 250 runners and hikers. Registration closes on December 1.
