The Punk Panther Dales Dazzler is a trail running event on 29 August 2026 in Skipton, starting and finishing at St Andrew's Church, Newmarket Street. The event is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons. Entries open 17 August 2025 and close 16 August 2026. Minimum age is 18 and the maximum number of entrants is 200. The route leaves Skipton, heads west to meet the Pennine Way near Pinhaw Beacon, passes Thornton in Craven, Gargrave and Malham Tarn, then goes over to Arncliffe and joins the Dales Way through Starbotton, Kettlewell, Grassington and Burnsall before returning to Skipton. Approximate climb for the distances is 1500, 2200, 4200 and 7600 feet respectively. GPX files and a route description are available and the final version will be emailed to competitors. All routes except the 50 mile will be taped or signed the week before the race. Ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; shorter-distance runners may hire a tracker for a fee. A kit list applies to all distances and random on-course kit checks may be carried out. Checkpoints are placed on course and provide drinks, bars and snacks including vegan and gluten-free options. The 50 mile race allows a non-returnable drop bag to be transferred to Malham Tarn.
