The Punk Panther Dales Dazzler is a trail race held in Skipton on Saturday 29 August 2026. It is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons and has a minimum age of 18. Entries open 17 August 2025 and close 16 August 2026. Maximum entrants are 200; 15 participants were listed at the time of posting. Registration takes place at St Andrew's Church, Newmarket Street, Skipton. A pay-and-display car park is listed on Cavendish Street, Skipton, BD23 2AB. Dogs are not allowed inside the church.

Course and logistics

The route starts in Skipton and goes west to meet the Pennine Way near Pinhaw Beacon, then continues via Thornton in Craven, Gargrave, Malham Tarn, Arncliffe, Starbotton, Kettlewell, Grassington, Burnsall and Barden Bridge before returning to Skipton via Embsay. Checkpoints are located at Clogger Lane, Gargrave, Malham Tarn, Kettlewell and Burnsall; arriving after a checkpoint closes results in retirement from the race.

All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; shorter-distance runners may hire a tracker. The tracker shows live position and includes an emergency button that, if pressed, ends the entrant's race. Drop bags are allowed for the 50 mile course only. Support crews must avoid official checkpoints.

Mandatory kit and finish

A minimum kit list applies to all distances and includes a waterproof jacket, survival/bivvy bag, whistle, cup, personal first aid kit, hard copy route map, hat, gloves and enough fluids. Random kit checks may lead to disqualification. Finishers receive a medal and an event T-shirt unless they opt out; hot food and drinks are provided at the finish, including vegan and gluten free options.
