Punk Panther Dales Dazzler

Punk Panther Dales Dazzler is a one-day trail running event in Skipton on 29 August 2026. The route leaves Skipton and runs west to meet the Pennine Way near Pinhaw Beacon, then passes Thornton in Craven, Gargrave, Malham Tarn and Arncliffe before joining the Dales Way at Starbotton and returning to Skipton via Embsay.

The event offers four distance options with corresponding total climb and international points. Checkpoints are placed on the course and provide water, coke, energy bars and snacks including vegan and gluten free choices. Drop bags are permitted for the 50 mile course and will be transferred to CP3 Malham Tarn. Trackers are supplied for ultramarathon entrants and can be hired for trail race entrants for a fee.

A mandatory kit list applies to all entrants and random kit checks will be carried out on course; failure to carry required kit can result in disqualification. Safety support runners are permitted and dogs may run subject to event rules. The minimum entry age is 18 and the field is limited to 200 entrants. Registration takes place at St Andrew's Church, Newmarket Street, Skipton and toilets are available at registration.

Entry fees vary by distance and trophies are presented after the event. Final competitor instructions and the definitive GPX route will be sent to entrants before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
