Event Overview

The On the Dam Trail: Quemahoning Relay Race takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026. It features several race options: a 50K solo, a 50K 4-person relay, a 30K solo (one lap), and a 10K. The 50K solo and 4-person relay, as well as the 30K, share one start time, while the 10K has a later start time.

Course Details

The main event is a trail race around the Quemahoning Reservoir, starting and finishing at Camp Harmony in Hooversville, Pennsylvania. The 50K course consists of two full loops, totaling approximately 34 miles. The course is a single-track trail through rolling hills, featuring small stream crossings, rocky sections, and pine forests. The total elevation change for two laps is around 3,100 feet. A 30K option covers one lap of the same course. Aid stations and relay exchange points are located along the course.

The 4-person relay divides the 50K distance into four legs of varying lengths: 9 miles, 8 miles, 7 miles, and 10 miles. The new 10K distance is a separate loop added for the 2026 event.

Venue and Amenities

Camp Harmony serves as the central venue for registration, packet pickup, and the start/finish area. The site offers restrooms and a shower house for use after the race. Overnight accommodations, including tent camping areas and rustic cabins that sleep multiple people, are available for rent on the Friday night before the race. The cabins are located approximately 100 yards from the start/finish line. A bonfire with campfire-style food is planned after the run.
