Jim Mayer Trail Family Fun Run

The Jim Mayer Trail Family Fun Run is a 5K run and walk held in Johnstown, PA as part of the Cambria County Trails Series. This year the event offers the 5K only; the 10K will not be offered due to lower participation in prior years.

The course is an out and back that begins and ends in Riverside, with the turnaround point at Bridge Street. Participants follow a section of trail along the Stonycreek River. Runners and walkers use the same marked route.

Top three finishers in each category receive placement medals for both male and female divisions in adult and youth classes. All proceeds from the Jim Mayer Trail Family Fun Run benefit the Friends of the Trails program, which supports enhancement of the Cambria County Trails.

The event description focuses on the single distance offered, the course layout, the riverside trail setting, awards for top finishers, and the charitable purpose of proceeds. Information about specific start times or other logistical details is not provided here. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
