Night Light : Urban Trail Series
Night Light is an evening trail event in Saint Paul, Minnesota, held on 10/23/2026 at Battle Creek trails near 75 Winthrop St S. The event accommodates walking, hiking and running on natural-surface trails.
The course is 100% off pavement, running on grassy and dirt trails. There are a fair number of large climbs; the trail is not lit after dark, so use of a headlamp is expected. The 5K loop is used as the base course for other distances.
Distances offered:
- 5K One lap of the course.
- 10K Two laps of the 5K course.
- 15K Three laps of the 5K course.
- 15K relay Three person relay, three laps total.
Registration opens June 10 and closes September 1. Registration fees listed by event are $30 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K, $40 for the 15K, and $80 for the 15K relay; the relay price is per team.
Relay divisions include Women's, Men's and Mixed, plus Masters 40+ Women's, Men's and Mixed. The relay uses a designated exchange zone for handoffs; the first team member to register pays the team fee and the second and third team members register without an additional charge.
