Night Light

Night Light is a fall nighttime trail event held on the Battle Creek trails in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The route is 100 percent off pavement and follows grassy and dirt trails with a fair number of large climbs. The course is not lit, so participants should expect to provide their own headlamp.

The event offers multiple race options on a 5K loop. Distances include:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • 15K
  • 15K relay

The 10K and 15K distances are completed by running multiple laps of the 5K course. The 15K relay is a three person team event comprised of three laps of the 5K loop. Teams hand off at a designated exchange zone. The first person to create a relay team pays the team entry fee; the second and third runners register afterward at no additional charge.

Divisions for the relay and individual competition include Women's, Men's, and mixed categories, as well as Masters 40+ divisions for Women's, Men's, and mixed teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
