Course, logistics and services

The course is laid out like an infinity loop made from two roughly 5 km sections. Half marathon and marathon distances use an added section on one 5 km loop to create a 6.55-mile lap. Terrain is described as hill country single track with open fields, short jeep roads, rocks, climbs, drops, bluffs, ravines, creek beds, cacti, and water. One west 5 km loop is more technical with short climbs and a bluff overlook; the east 5 km loop is flatter with flowy trails.

Course markings include orange caution tape, yellow arrows, confidence markers, and reflective elements for dark hours. Aid station support is basic and locations make it easy to access personal supplies about every 5 km. Drop bag service is not provided; participants may leave supplies at the Race Hub. All races are chip timed with ankle chips. Pacers are not allowed. Awards are given to the Top 3 Overall plus Top 1 Masters (50+) per distance. Camping is allowed Friday night only.
