Overview
The Mosaic Trail Race is a trail running event with distances from a youth race to ultramarathon, held at Indian Mound Ranch in Liberty Hill, Texas. The event aims to bring together runners of all backgrounds and ages.

The race offers seven distances:

The course consists of two main loops arranged in a figure-eight or infinity loop pattern around a central race hub. The western 5 km loop is described as "mostly flat’ish" but technical in spots, with short, punchy climbs, twists, turns, and a section overlooking the San Gabriel River. The eastern loop, used for the longer distances, features open pasture running and flowy trails, described as mostly flat with no extended climbs. The half and full marathon routes include an additional section on one side. The terrain includes single track, rocks, creek beds, ravines, and some open fields.
Event Details
The event is held in December. The ranch is private property and is only open to the public for the official race and trail work days. A vehicle access fee of $10 cash applies for vehicles carrying spectators.
Camping is allowed on-site on the Friday night before the race only, on the near side of the active railroad tracks, with a fee per person. The event promotes a family-friendly environment with yard games and toys available at the race hub. A cupless policy is in effect, requiring participants to bring their own cup or bottle for aid stations; collapsible cups are available for purchase. The event follows Leave No Trace principles.
Participants receive a race bib, a finisher medal, and a swag item such as a shirt or hat, depending on registration date. Awards are given to the top three overall and top masters finisher per distance. Chip timing is used, with timing chips worn on the ankle. Pacers are not allowed for this event.
