The course is laid out like an infinity symbol or figure 8, with two main looped sections that meet at the Race Hub. The west loop is mostly flat but technical in spots, with twists, short climbs, ravines, and a bluff overlooking the San Gabriel River. The east side mixes open pasture running and flowy single track. Marathon and half marathon laps include an additional marked section to reach lap distances near 6.55 miles.
Event logistics and policies are stated clearly. Aid stations provide basic support and the layout makes it easy to access personal supplies approximately every 5 km. The event is cupless so runners must carry a cup or bottle; collapsible cups are available for purchase at packet pickup. All races are chip timed with ankle straps. Pacers are not allowed. The event follows Leave No Trace principles and enforces no littering rules. Family and youth activities include an untimed youth mile, family-friendly race hub games, and youth registration discounts for those 19 and under.
