The Fields of Gold Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Shaffer Bend Recreation Area, 706 County Road 343A, Marble Falls, TX 78654. The event offers multiple race options, including:

Night running requires a headlamp, a backup light source is recommended, and participants running in the dark should use reflective clothing or a vest, carry personal hydration, and have a cell phone for emergencies.

Course highlights named in event materials include Lakeview, Osprey, Equine, Legacy Loop, Scenic Overlook Ridge, Osprey and Odyssey Trail, and the Homestead finish. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a race shirt, and access to a post-race harvest celebration. Aid stations list seasonal items such as apple cider, pumpkin cookie bites, and warming beverages. The event is organized by Fit Foundation volunteers and after expenses will benefit HKRS Cedar Park youth running programs, supporting registration assistance, equipment, program expansion, volunteer training, and community outreach. Kick off 2026 on scenic trails at the River Ranch Resolution Run in Liberty Hill, Texas on January 31. Choose from 50k to 5k distances plus a youth mile and enjoy rolling meadows, river views and century old live oaks.

Run the Rodeo Stampede Austin at Marble Falls Mustang Stadium with distances from a Kids Dash to a Half Marathon across scenic park and trail surfaces. All finishers get a shirt and medal, plus a Cowboy Costume Contest, snacks and race day..

Experience the Bluebonnet Trail Run at Turkey Bend with scenic Lake Travis views, wooded trails and peak bluebonnet blooms across distances for all ages. Proceeds benefit youth running programs and finishers get a wooden bluebonnet medal.

Pandora's Box of Rox is a trail race at Reveille Peak Ranch, Burnet, Texas, from a 1 mile youth run up to a 52 mile double marathon. Lakeside start and finish, granite domes, creek crossings and on site camping make for a memorable weekend.
