Big Texas Ultra
The Big Texas Ultra is a two-day endurance event held on the Lake Georgetown Rim Trail with start and finish at Russell Park Trailhead in Georgetown, TX. The event uses a 15K out-and-back trail and a 50K loop based at the Russell Park trailhead. The course surface includes rocky trail, jeep road, and short road sections. Typical historic temperatures range from 50 to 74 degrees.

Course details note approximately 700 feet of gain for the 15K out-and-back and about 2,300 feet of gain for the 50K loop. The 100K is run as two 50K loops. The 100K division requires participants to carry a headlamp and to use it on the second 50K loop. Pacifics or pace partners are permitted only for the 100K during its second loop. Ruck competitors must carry weight according to body weight: 30 lb if over 150 lb, 20 lb if under 150 lb; rucksacks or vests are allowed.
Finishers receive event gear and awards that vary by distance, including finisher medals, long-sleeve shirts, ruck patches, and belt buckles for 100K finishers. The 100K Championship division awards monetary prizes for top finishers. The race is part of the Texas Ultra Series, where combined finisher medals form the outline of Texas.
