All finishers receive an original MADE IN TEXAS medal and a post-race meal; the race bib also serves as the meal ticket. Awards are given to First overall male and female, First masters (50+) male and female, and Second and Third overall male and female. Race swag is guaranteed for signups before January 18, 2026.
A portion of proceeds is donated to the Friends of McKinney Falls State Park. Volunteer roles include trail setup, tear down, and safety patrol; volunteers must manage their own lodging, transportation, and gear. The Stampede is the first race in the Rogue Trail Series and contributes to series scoring. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
