Turkey Shuffle - Austin
The Turkey Shuffle is scheduled for 11/28/2026 at SE Metro Park in Del Valle, Texas. The event includes on-site and virtual race options with multiple distances and a dedicated Kids Dash for children aged 10 and under.
The event features music from a DJ, on-course aid stations and water stations, postrace snacks and refreshments at a rally tent, and live awards announcements at the registration tent. All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The 5K and 10K are chip timed; the 1 mile and Kids Dash are not timed. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the event. Shirt orders are guaranteed only if requested at least 10 days before the event.
A costume contest awards a Biggest Turkey Trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for two free future races, a $25 HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack. Standard age group awards are provided for the 5K and 10K, including overall trophies and age category pins across listed age brackets.
Volunteer roles include water station, course monitor, finish line helper, sweeper, packet pickup, floater, lead bike, and mascot. A Volunteer then Run option is available for a limited number of spots and includes a chip timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal.
