The Knacker Cracker is a trail running event on 1 January 2026, organised by 1 Mile 2 Go Events. The official race distance is 10.000 km with total ascent of 473 m and total descent of 335 m. The event includes a separate children’s fun run called the Nipper Knacker and a women’s prize titled the Knicker Knacker. The race is UK Athletics affiliated. Course and logistics

Registration and parking are at Denbies Vineyard, London Road, Dorking RH5 6AA. The normal course starts at the bottom of Box Hill and finishes at Box Hill Fort at the top; if Box Hill cannot be used a planned B course around Denbies Vineyard will be used instead. The route runs mainly on rough tracks and includes multiple ascents of Box Hill and views over the North Downs, the Mole Gap, Denbies Vineyard and Dorking. Earphones and headphones are not allowed on the course. There is a water station at about 6 km offering water and sweets. Race-day facilities include hired toilets, a bag-and-key drop transported to the finish, and post-race refreshments.
