Knacker Cracker

Knacker Cracker is a New Year trail race organised by 1 Mile 2 Go Events and based at Denbies Vineyard, London Road, Dorking RH5 6AA. The main route is exactly 10.000 km and runs largely on rough tracks with extensive elevation change: total ascent of 473 m and total descent of 335 m. The route includes steep sections on the lower part of Happy Valley and uses the old military road instead of the Burford Spur slope on the revised course introduced from 1 January 2025.

Parking and registration are at Denbies Vineyard and the race start is at the bottom of Box Hill. If Box Hill is not available, a B Course around Denbies Vineyard is used as an alternative. After the race participants who parked at Denbies should expect to walk back to their cars.

Headphones and earphones are not allowed on the course. There are also a kids fun run called the Nipper Knacker and a ladies only race known as the Knicker Knacker. Marshals are requested to help with parking, start and finish operations, course signalling and goodie bag delivery; marshals receive soup and rolls and a free place in a future race.

Entries made after 8pm on 1 December will not have their names printed on race t-shirts due to production deadlines. The entry fee listed is £45. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
