Henfield Half Marathon

The Henfield Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 16th August 2026 and is organised by Henfield Leisure Centre in conjunction with Henfield Joggers. The event starts and finishes at Henfield Leisure Centre, Northcroft, Henfield BN5 9QB.

The course is an off road Half Marathon that follows stretches of riverbank and a disused railway and includes flint paths and stiles. The organisers welcome disabled and less abled athletes and ask anyone unsure about the course to contact them before entering.

Facilities at the leisure centre include changing rooms, showers and toilets, and free parking is available. Hot and cold drinks and food will be available on the day. Medals are awarded to all finishers and race results will be posted on the organiser website after the event. The course will close after 4 hours and marshals will not be present along the route after that time.

Entries open on Friday 10th October 2025 and close on Friday 14th August 2026. Entry fees are listed as £25 for UKA members and £27 for non members. A combined entry covering four Centurion Running 50 mile races in 2026, each held on a different date. Minimum age 20, entry fee listed, with an optional XCover refund option and published terms and policies.

A 50 mile ultramarathon along the South Downs Way National Trail from Worthing to Eastbourne. Experience 5,700 feet of elevation gain across rolling chalk paths and finish with a lap of an athletics track.

A trail running event at Cowdray Estate on 11 April 2026 offering 3 km kids, 5 km, 10 km and 10 mile options, including canicross races. Routes cross heathland commons in the South Downs and include firm, wet and sandy trail sections.

Trail races on the South Downs Way around Stanmer with 21 km, 14 km and 5 km options. Routes pass Ditchling Beacon and include chip timing, a finisher medal, GPX files and on-course support for the longer distances.
