Jacks Valley Trail Rally

Jacks Valley Trail Rally is a trail running event held at Jacks Valley Elementary School near Carson City, Nevada. The courses run on fire roads and single track and include some steep hills and sections with technical footing. The route offers views of Carson Valley and the surrounding mountains. Mapped courses are available in CalTopo with options to export GPX or KML files.

Registration is offered through Ultrasignup with tiered pricing based on the date of registration. Race day registration is available and accepts cash, check or Zelle only. Bib numbers are distributed on race morning at check-in.

The event is presented as the second of three races in a Fall Series that merges elements of the Carson Canyons race and two former winter trail runs. Organizers plan to refine the merged format in future years.

There will be no finisher or division place awards; this is stated to help keep registration rates lower. The Forest Service requests that dogs not be taken onto the courses because of sheep grazing; dogs are allowed in the start and finish area but not on the running routes.

Parking is available in the dirt lot on the west side of the school north of the solar panel fencing; participants are asked not to use the paved parking area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
