Race format and extras

Most events offer marked courses, course support, timing, and a bib for each participant. Distances at regular events include:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • Free kids races between 0.5 mile and 1 mile

Kids 12 and under may run the kids race with a bib; kids 12 and under who want to run the full 5K or 10K must register as standard runners. Each race includes a rotating race item such as a buff, socks, a stocking cap, a coffee mug, or an aluminum water bottle. Post-race fuel is provided, and free beer is supplied by Exile Brewing Company at events that offer post-race refreshments.

The Leftover Edition at Jester Park is described as a no-frills, relaxed event. It uses a shotgun start for the 5K and 10K, does not award prizes, and is not part of the series pass or points; participants receive a bib and may choose swag from a leftovers bin.
